We stumbled across a dessert bar in Fitzroy and this is how it went.
Craig and Lois have created a lovely culture at Twisted Dessert Bar. They are super passionate about their food and it showed when they checked in on every customer that was eating during our visit. Amazing hosts!
Every customer is greeted with a lovely warm welcome and they given the choice of an intimate seating or bright front window.
With the surprising price point, we weren't expecting what we then received, the sweet treats were plated to perfection and the portions, enough to make up a whole meal and totally worth the price (recommend trying the $5 brownie).
I decided to extend my taste palate and was suggested to pair the boysenberry ice cream beer with their New York Baked Cheesecake………this was extraordinary. As someone who isn’t a big fan of beer, this combo was delish!! Its safe to say this creamy, gelatin free cheesecake delight is my favourite cheesecake thus far.
Its worth noting all desserts are halal with a selection of mocktails to match those who don’t drink alcohol.
Definitely worth a visit, ill be a regular for sure!
